What's inside our bestseller
MUM's School Year Diary measures 12cm by 18cm and contains 176 pages. It has a hardback cover with rounded corners, an expandable pocket on the inside back cover for stamps, receipts or invitations, 2 grosgrain ribbon page markers, an elastic strap to hold everything closed and a pen loop. The diary is thread bound so it won't fall apart and with a little bit of use it will lie flat if you want to keep it open.

I was bought one of these years ago and found it so helpful with all the columns. Never seem to have found a diary that compares since, so this year I decided to seek out Mum's Office and buy my own. Now I know what every one is doing and feel so much more prepared for the year ahead... I even bought an academic diary for my cousin who is off to Uni as I think it will be great for her (and they had it in her favouirte colour!)
I used the big family diary when the children were smaller which worked always very well for me, now, they're in senior school and university, I use the school year diary. The format works for me and for someone who still prefers a paper diary over a digital one, this is my go to year after year, I love the colour choices and this size comes with me in my handbag. I mainly use the "Our Plans" section to mark term dates and holidays and the weekly overview makes it easy to keep an eye on everyone's schedule on one page. I tried to find a less costly alternative this year but hated the paper quality, print and layout of it and came back to this one. For me, this is the best diary.
Love this clever diary!
Compact size but with its clever grid it packs a lot of organised space which works well for me juggling 4 kids, a husband and a small business! Each kid gets a column and I get a whole page just for me and my week so I can keep on top of what everyone is doing. Love the lilac / orange contrast which is pure colour joy for me. Wish I’d found these diaries sooner! I’ve been recommending it to my friends too😊

This is the ultimate Pocket Rocket. I used to rely on my phone calendar but it got too big and out of control and if the battery dies I am lost! This diary is refreshingly simple; you can see everyone’s week on a single double page, not all squished together in a tiny box. There is plenty of space for all the million bits of information we have to remember and the endless school activities. The paper is lovely and thick so none of the pens bleed through. And to cap it all, it actually fits in a normal handbag!
I love these diaries, as a mum of three, balancing uni and all the extra curricular activities of the kids, as well as a part time job I am busy and this is a perfect aid !
Inside the diary there are lots of useful spaces to make notes or lists and the diary section is spacious enough to allow me to record the details!
The cover is lovely and the quality is superb! I think I will need one of these year in year out for quite some time !
I always come back to this perfectly proportioned and designed diary. It covers a school year and holidays and the columns for additional family member, or what ever you designate them to, are super helpful.
The diary is nice and the colour is beautiful. Unfortunately for me it is just too small and although I have tried I have had to purchase an alternative as I cannot fit what I need into the spaces.
The BEST Diaries!
This is my 3rd Mum's office diary and I wouldn't even consider buying a different one now. I love the layout, it's easy to use, definitely keeps family life organised around my schedule and the options of colours are great, not to mention the quality. I hate using my phone to keep up with my calendar, having purchased a mini this year, I carry my diary with me wherever I go.
Perfect handbag sized diary to cope with important dates at work, appointments for home and children. This is my third purchase and my second at this size.

Beautiful quality as always. I usually buy the bigger version of this but this one will fit in my handbag more easily. The grid is so useful for planning work and home life. I love the colours and the quality of the pages - pens don’t seep through.
I have been using this diary since my daughter was in secondary school. She is now 23 years old, but it is my favourite. Enough room for everything and can be easily adapted. It is the perfect size and sturdiness and now I can choose the colour (although I did like the convenience of buying in John Lewis)

Love this diary! Been buying them for about 10 years now. They are brilliant for separating what the kids are doing from what I'm doing/the family is doing. Loads of room every week, with great sections for notes, finances and future planning.
